I’d like to know what the outstanding recall is before I bid on it and why it wasn’t dealt with when it was last serviced

The recall is easily sorted; any other information may be a bit harder to find. The reason why I don't like auctions is the risk factor. I like a bargain but risk averse.Dav the wheel nut wrote: ↑Thu Nov 10, 2022 8:50 am I’d like to know what the outstanding recall is before I bid on it and why it wasn’t dealt with when it was last serviced
The history shows it has been hardly driven; therefore I would expect it to have been in immaculate condition. But it's not, which is probably why it's being auctioned. Also a very strange car for the Bangers & Cash brigade to sell.
All good things come to those who wait. I'm really impatient which explains a lot.

At that mileage it could easily be none! I could probably find out if I was serious.Dav the wheel nut wrote: ↑Thu Nov 10, 2022 10:48 am The point I was making was what sort of service history has it got I wonder

Now you mention it a mate of mine had a 2006 impreza wrx sti and that had some adjustable centre diff thing. He them had a forester sti Litchfield which was an animal of a thing lolPondrew wrote: ↑Wed Nov 09, 2022 10:20 pmThe four wheel drive systems on these type of cars are incredible. Electronically controlled centre diffs, the lot. As I said earlier I had an equivalent Evo 20 years ago. It was the only car I've driven that made me feel I could drive well.Jollyjoiner wrote: ↑Wed Nov 09, 2022 9:49 pm I like the look of the Subaru, I bet it's a very capable motor
