Interior Wrap: 3D Carbon (E86)

Post by UpsideDown » Mon Nov 07, 2022 8:30 pm

Hey there

New member, since I bought a 2007 M Coupe a few weeks back… and loving it. Used to own a Z3 M Coupe; loved that, but think this is even better.

I have the brushed steel interior, but prefer the carbon leather. Haven’t been able to find any of this and understand they don’t make it anymore.

So… wondered if anyone had used these guys? The photos look great, but would like to confirm quality before committing.

Can’t really tell from their website, but will ask the Q.

“PROFESSIONALLY WRAPPED IN OUR CARBON VINYL. YOU CAN CHOOSE BETWEEN OUR 3D MATT CARBON OR 4D GLOSSY CARBON FINISH”

Hi OP

Would recommend without hesitation, had my centre console done, great finish, fast turn around, been in situ about 6 months through the summer without issue. :-D

Excellent, thanks for the responses and the good review; the work on their FB pages look great. Have booked in for December.

Looks really good and much better than the plain ally.
Good price too, considering it includes removal and reinstalling the trim which is a fiddly job

Hi Plenty

They do a postal service, send it to them well packaged after contacting them, they will quote for the work and add what I remember was very reasonable postage back. As my post above I had central console done posted wrapped and back on the car within 7 days.

Thanks Mikopop! TBH I'd rather a drive-in and out service to save me the hassle of removing myself. I'd actually much rather do the 306-mile return trip to MTEC than faff around disassembling my dash.

After weighing up the options, I’ve decided against the vinyl wrap in favour of hydro dipping. Booked in for January, will post pics when done. Will be paying a visit here and saving some motorway miles… https://www.thehydroguys.co.uk/
