E89 30i DSB manual - Very High Spec

Post by True-Blue » Sat Oct 01, 2022 4:12 pm

So since taking the interior shots and noticing the grubby marks I’ve given the leather a clean with Dr Leather, a very soft brush, and a Microfibre and it’s come up sparkling as I expected…. However, it’s just started raining, so I’ve put the car away and the light in the garage isn’t good enough to get decent photo’s :headbang:

The pic’s make it look worse than it is for some reason. If I get time I’ll give the leather a clean and take better images.
Maybe it's my cheap monitor but doesn't look grubby in the photos to me. OK the driver's bolster could do with a bit of attention, but mine was like that at 25k miles; not exactly uncommon! :)
All good things come to those who wait. I'm really impatient which explains a lot.

F31 320i. Good car.
E89 20i Now fully dried
Z3 'free litre'. Project and a half. Complicated!
Mazda3 sold
Tatty old R56 Mini Cooper. Money pit!

I think it’s a combination of there being a few marks and the way the images show up on my phone and iPad making it look worse than it was.

Yes, the Drivers bolster in on my list and I have checked out the leather world kit. To be honest, if I keep it, I’ll probably just take the seats out and re-do all the leather… because ‘why not?’

Thanks for the photos. It's a nice car for sure.

I was building some interest but unfortunately, the wood effect trim just isn't for me. Shame.

Easily and inexpensively either changed or wrapped. That wouldn't put me off in the slightest if a load of other boxes were ticked

No worries, not a massive fan of wood trim myself either. Having said that, it’s a relatively small amount and it does compliment the leather nicely… it’s grown on me.

In all honesty, after taking the lid of the Eibach coilover box yesterday to take photo’s…. I’m having a bit of a wobble about selling it anyway and giving thought to taking a day off work and getting the spanner’s out :fuelfire:

Fair one. Given that so many seem to have this style of trim, I might have to teach my self to like it as well.

I think you will need to teach yourself to like it if you want an E89 as so many of them seem to have it!

And it's a small compromise to get a 30i in that colour combination.
Coupes because stunning!

The car I’m interested in is still available… so this is too for the time being.

I may advertise it elsewhere, as there is generally limited interest here as most already own Z4’s

The price isn’t fixed, I have a little wiggle room.
