Winter steelies for my sport

Post by Alan-G » Thu Sep 29, 2022 10:49 am

Hi All,

I’ve been offered a cheap set of 16” steel wheels with winter tyres off of a 1 series. Does anyone know if these will fit my sport? Any issues with brake clearance etc?

What do you want to know? It’s a standard 2007 2.0 E85.

Should fit. 16s don’t fit the bigger brakes on the 3-litres.

Exactly that...as it wasn't clear what Z4 model you were asking about e85, e89, z29, 2.0, 2.2, 2.5, 3.0, etc.

If they are off an E8* or F20 1 Series they should fit although the offsets are slightly different, but F40 and F52 1 Series have different bolt spacing.
