It's always been a latent anxiety on any road trip with the zed; how to deal with a flattie when obviously you don't have a spare and are loathed to use the temporary foam-can fix and when you're miles from civilisation...or at least a tyre shop.
There are a few of these kits around and the REXPAIR one seems pretty convincing.
Does anyone have any direct or anecdotal experience of successfully/unsuccessfully using it? Any longevity/reliability issues?
I must say the promo vide are very compelling, so I'm about to pull the trigger on a kit to stick in the 'bootbox full of useful but ultimately unutilised things. It will probably sit right next to the 'instant hood repair kit' for years to come

I’ve used those things for years on cars & bikes with no problems, they’re also known as “rats tails”
They’re meant to be a temporary repair but I’ve never had one fail.

REXPAIR tyre repair kit - any experience?
As Smartbear said they work well in certain circumstances like when you get a small puncture in the tread.
Unfortunately my last 5 punctures have either been in the sidewall where in my case the damage was too great or the other time I collected a bolt size puncture in the tread and they couldn’t plug the gap
I still carry a kit plus a gloop version with compressor

We choose to go to on with this endeavour at this time and do the other things, not because they are easy, but because they are hard…

In my Z I have one of these kits plus a compressor and tyre seal as well as a space saver and tools - Ive experienced the recovery services response times on my daily. Not had to use the repair kit yet but looks like a no brainer?
