Sorry, but that just looks hideous.
As suggested you will probably fall foul of some over-enthusiastic jobsworth with a badge and superiority complex who will either give you a warning and request to remove them (best case), give you an on the spot fine (not best case) or pop a cap in yo ass for crimes against good taste and decency (worst case).

Or did I get those case scenario definitions the wrong way around?

What do you mean by a led windscreen.

Interior lights are not so tightly regulated but I don't know the rules when you put the hood down.

According to WindRestrictor®, lighting in this area would be classified as interior lighting, not exterior.
