So, after a fair bit of thought, I’ve decided not to go down the PPF route.

I’m getting quotes of between £1400 - £1600 for the front end, and £950 - £1100 for partial front, which is bumper and about 25% of the bonnet.

As much as I really want to do this, it’s a disproportionate amount of the car’s value and it would be cheaper to get the whole front end stripped and painted again.

I’ve also spotted another car I fancy, so I might advertise this car to see if there’s any interest, although it seems the sports car market is almost dead currently. It’ll certainly be no hardship to keep it.

PPF’d and ceramic coated. We don’t plan on getting rid of the car for many years to come. Since the paint, once it was corrected, was show car like, and I can’t stand rock chips, and the roads are so bad, we opted to go the route of full front PPF.

Edit: the lower panel that runs from the front fender and then below the door was included and protected. They wrapped the PPF over the edge and into inside lower sill.

I had one in this colour with a contrasting back roof. I corrected the paint myself and applied a ceramic coating, it did look great when the sun was out.
