Metal tyre pressure cap stuck
I received this warning from my local tire shop to replace the metal valve caps with nylon. Is there another option in use like adding ptfe tape or anti-seize?

The best way to prevent it is to buy proper metal valves with matching caps - as long as they are well reviewed the metal thread should match the metal used in the cap which should prevent oxidisation which usually cause the issues referred to in this thread
