Z4 E85 3.0l 2003 11 months MOT now SOLD
For sale, my 2003 3.0l E85 in Titan Silver with 110,500 miles on the clock. Owned by me for the past 13 years.
Reluctant sale due to newly-acquired E89 and no room at the inn for this one too (according to the Mrs).
I’d like £2850 please.
Highlights:
MOT valid to August 2023.
Regularly serviced by local garage (always Mobil 1) and currently shows next oil service due in 4750 miles.
Roof motor relocated to boot by Ross Bowes (of specialists RBM Hampshire).
New battery and starter motor fitted March 2022.
New alternator fitted 2019.
DISA valve replaced with all metal parts 2019.
Wheels refurbished in 2021.
RFTs replaced with Goodyear Eagle F1 tyres all round.
Standard equipment - BMW 6-CD Autochanger, smoker package, wind diffuser, M-Sports suspension, heated driver and passenger seats, electric memory driver seat.
Lowlights:
Interior needs a refurb. Although usable, it’s not been sympathetically recoloured so would benefit from refurb. Drivers bolster has wear in the usual place. Aluminium dash, door handles and centre console have also been wrapped in “carbon-fibre” lookalike tape. All sounded a good idea at the time and I didn’t have the heart to disappoint the person who did it, but it would be good to remove it. Original aluminium was good beforehand.
Rust bubbles now starting to come through on both rear arches and the very front corners of the bonnet. Nothing serious as yet, but will need to be addressed.
Headlamp washers were “liberated” by some thieving git a few years ago and haven’t been replaced (the washer motor is disconnected and the hose capped).
It’s a good, sound, usable Z4 which will need a bit of fettling to make it great again. Looking at the averages on fleabay and Autotrader I think it’s price is about right. Based in Suffolk, just north of Woodbridge, I’m happy to take any questions and will upload photos/videos directly to interested parties via WhatsApp if you PM me.
Cheers,
David

Sounds a bargain for someone, but sadly your photo uploads haven't worked?

Sorry chaps, bit of a cock-up on the technology front. Trying to work out how to upload the photos.

Click the edit 'pencil' in the top right corner of your first post.
Below the text box you'll see a tab marked attachments.
Select that then add files.
Once all the photos are uploaded to that you can click on each one to 'place in line' under your text.
Be aware that for some reason they don't always turn up in the order you think they have!

Cheers mate, I did all that and attached the files as you suggested ( I even did them one at a time so they’d be in the right order). Still no luck.

Try picking one and giving it a simpler name (Car 1). It could just be it doesn't like the format?Fullspeedahead wrote: ↑Sat Sep 10, 2022 2:05 pm Cheers mate, I did all that and attached the files as you suggested ( I even did them one at a time so they’d be in the right order). Still no luck.

Thanks for all your help, adding names to the files was the answer. Curse this new-fangled technology, give me a chinagraph pencil and an overhead projector.
