Never knew there was a problem with sun visor other than;
1/ Looks and feels cheap.
2/ Rattles against the plastic window trim. Have to fit some rubber bumpers.
3/ Mirror cover rattles and got stuck open.
4/ Can't be moved to side window, but not a deal breaker.

It's indeed the "hard snap back", that even may destroy the integrated mirrors.

I put on some rubber bumpers, but keep moving around.
Visor is the tackiest part of the interior.
Seen better on a Fiat.

You think the Z4 ones are bad, well the ones from the MG F are even worse.
You first fold down the visor, then you have to fold out the flap and it still doesn't really cover the top of the screen properly :P

My wife's E89 drivers mirror is smashed to pieces for this reason. Anybody had to replace one of these and knows where to get hold of one without paying an absolute fortune? Many thanks.

Does that stop the irritating rattles and buzzes?
We choose to go to on with this endeavour at this time and do the other things, not because they are easy, but because they are hard..

Agreed. Just cost me £99.01 for a new drivers side visor after it snapped back up shattering the mirror :x
