Gaiter

My gaiter is looking very tired. For lack of being able to track down an original new gaiter online, has anyone tried restoring with something like shoe polish? Or is this a horrible idea?

I would ring a vet TBH. Could be that it has things on it's mind. :D

Seriously, though, leather seat dye is good for this. I did the top of my gearstick and the handbrake of my F33 with black leather dye recently and they came up really well. Always use a leather cleaner first. Furniture Clinic products have a good reputation, that is what I use.
All good things come to those who wait. I'm really impatient which explains a lot.

F31 320i. Good car.
E89 20i Now fully dried
Z3 'free litre'. Project and a half. Complicated!
Mazda3 sold
Tatty old R56 Mini Cooper. Money pit!

Completely agree, my driver side seat was wearing a bit and I used some leather cream dye and it came up like new…
