Now, Sterling grey Z4 2.2 with cup holders, stubby aerial and sport seats. Roadsters ‘cause they’re great with the roof down.
Ford Anglia, Red Sprite, a few MG midgets, MGB Roadster and yellow Ford Capri, all gone many years now.

Makes the car look more modern I think and goes with the look of the car. Very happy with it.

Noohhhhh….I can see a stubby on an E85…but it’s sacrilege on an E89…you loose the remote control car look….
We choose to go to on with this endeavour at this time and do the other things, not because they are easy, but because they are hard…
A very modified Atacama Yellow 35is

I have a StubbyJR https://www.cravenspeed.com/stubby-jr-a ... -z4-coupe/

Easier when using a cover... no noticeable difference in signal.... its how you use it.

With the antenna diversity these cars can have decent signal even without the external antenna. So when maiming, err modernizing the design, why not go with these, instead of leaving a third left. :D I’m off now to buy some more whippy wax.

No issues at all in my experience with radio reception. Why is it such an emotive issue though? It's cheap enough to have both a stubby & a whippy & takes barely a minute to switch.
I dont think its actually emotive bud, more just teasing. Personally i think if you want a stubby just cut it off with a pair of wire cutters, looks just as good :poke: :poke: :P :P :D :D

It’s a Whippy all the way for me, not sure what this infatuation with stubbies is all about.

Sod the aerial, that Melbourne red looks lush in your picture.

I like a whippy as it keeps me on my toes when cleaning; trying not to have an eye out! :D
All good things come to those who wait. I'm really impatient which explains a lot.
