Rear Indicators

Post by Andrew312 » Sat Jul 09, 2022 7:08 pm

Hi,

Have noticed couple of LED’s out in drivers side rear indicator, is there a way to repair or do I need to buy a whole unit?

I think I already know the answer but just want someone to confirm and whether best to replace both sides to match for wear.

If replacing the whole unit are there any guides I can follow and is it doable with minimal skills and tools.

Any help/advice is appreciated and anyone got an old unit lying about let me know.

Cheers

When i first replaced one i could see a difference, but was some time before i could justify changing until finally succumbed to water ingress.

Search the forum for answers to refitting.

Correct!

But in addition, each side needs a foil (BMW partno 63217191775 ) to seal the remaining 3rd hole, if the car was built before ~2013.
