So I came back from a long journey and on the way back down the motorway I noticed this sort of uneven whine noise. It went away for a couple of weeks (that I noticed) and has just come back this morning.
Roof down and roof up you notice it.
Mostly at low speed you hear it.
Stops when the car is stationary, kicks in at around 10mph.
If I put it in neutral and coast to a stop it carries on.
Aircon doesn’t affect it, all vents are closed.
Sounds like wind coming in, similar sound to someone blowing over a bottle. It gets quite high pitched.
I did add in a Bluetooth adaptor and in fitting this I noted that the screws that hold the radio in are missing. This was months ago so I don’t think it’s related.
Other than that the car is fine, no obvious performance issues, doesn’t seem to do it all the time.

Only you would think that Enuff
You have probably sorted it by now but if not, check there's no detritus in the air intakes, that can cause strange sounds from my experience.
