Riva DTM or Veemann VC359
Hi All,
Looking for some advise please. I have narrowed the wheels I’d like down to the below:
Riva DTM 18” which are
Front 8” ET 34
Rear 8.5” ET 37
£570
Or
Veemann VC359 18”
Front 8.5” ET35
Rear 9.5” ET45
£799
I want a nice looking good quality wheel. I am lowered although not crazy on BC adjustables and and would like to be able to use car for some track use so looking for best looking without rubbing.
Any advice for which of the above would be best please?
Many thanks

I’ve not had either of these , but looked in great detail at both FWIW
The Riva is a volume cast wheel which appears to have no great quality or structural issues from what I saw.
The Veeman is a better quality wheel, I believe it’s flow formed so a better process. Seems to be well respected.
I doubt there’s much difference in weights so for me it would boil down to the correct colour and offset as much as anything else plus what you prefer visually.
I’d encourage you to see them in the flesh as there are nuances which you find difficult to pick up in photos.
I use Fox which is a sister brand to Riva on my Volvo which has to do some serious rocky tracks with no issues.
I’ve used Zito 935 which is another similar design at a slightly higher price point than the Riva on my E89s.
I nearly went with those Veeman but in the end with APEC Arc-8s in flow formed, mostly for cosmetic reasons..

We choose to go to on with this endeavour at this time and do the other things, not because they are easy, but because they are hard…

Great write up mate and appreciate your time replying the Veeman look like the wheel for me. I will try and get to see them in the flesh. The Apex Arc 8s would be the wheel for me but my budget won’t allow me to unfortunately.
Lastly if the Veeman is 8.5/9.5 would you think there to be any problems with scrubbing?
Many thanks

Your car is an E85?
I can’t advise on E85s but many others can

Sorry to hijack the thread but couple of quick questions for Jon2215 about the Veemans...
- Are the ones you have the same widths and offsets listed above (front 8.5J ET35, rear 9.5J ET45)?
- How much do these weigh if you know?

Hi bud,
Yes 8.5 and 9.5 can’t remember the ET I’ll dig around for the invoice, think it’s on there.
Don’t know the weight other than definitely lighter than the 224s I took off.

Thank you Jon luckily I ordered the 18” Veemann yesterday from BM Autosport which are being delivered on Monday. I’m so glad I did looking at your wheels mate absolutely stunning. I ordered 68mm centre caps so hopefully these are a good fit.
Many thanks
