Rear loudspeaker cover falls off at high speeds

Post by TomZ4 » Mon May 16, 2022 7:36 pm

Just a funny issue, when you have slightly damaged clips on the rear loudspeaker cover it will fall out when you drive 60+ in high winds. The only solution I found was to use industrial double sided tape :D

Check that cover when you buy a car, I'm sure I bought a botched one and being BMW part it's around £40 for a new one.

60+ is high speed now? You’re ageing yourself, grandpa.

I have this issue as well & was wondering about if I should stick it down or just remove the cover when I’m driving top down at high speeds

Didn’t think to see if I could get a replacement

Herro, Very Good Qualty made from pure Chinesium plastic :D

Those plastic clips are just s**t, all I can say, poor design for a cover.

Or 3M double sided tape, it's holding my rear pointing dash cam on....
