I'm pretty happy with my lot. Don't usually look twice at the neighbours cars. Mostly 4x4 and several nice sports cars.

Then today this appeared.

Replaced his RS5.

Our local gas fitter. Just a switched on, chatty hard working, bloke

So when’s he taking you out for a spin?

Rest assured I will be getting out in it first chance I get. Have given him plenty of my own hard earned over the years.

Another neighbour just bought a 996 Carrera S. He had a Z4M lined up, that fell through. Nice enough, but not in the same league as the AMG GT R. 8)

A lot of car no doubt but not to my taste. A bit too aggressive looking for me if that makes sense.

Can't agree with you there. For what is a proper super car, I think it is remarkably understated. 8)

With you. I like simplicity in the lines.
That looks like the special edition 'Styled by Dyson'.

Nice ride! Guess if he can afford the price of the car. He is not concerned about maintenance costs / insurance etc.

To each his own obvs but personally I wouldnt even look at the Merc with this available.

Sorry but £130k for a second hand Merc of any variety is too much money. The GT reminds me too much of this abomination:

I knew I should have done my 'Gas Safe/ CORGI' course. I could have a P1 just for the weekend years ago.

An SLK in poor mans drag

I'm thinking a couple of months on a Caribbean beach, all inclusive and still come back with enough to buy the best MR available. 8)
