Ive paid my VED

Post by Nick W » Mon Apr 11, 2022 11:47 am

Went to Ivybridge tip last week on the way to the quarry. I started emptying my bottle bin but got told to stop by the village idiot because I had a trailer over 6 metres long. Well it was a 10 Foot Trailer and was EMPTY. I laughed and emptied the bin, while he informed me he was filming me and I could get a fine. Ah well, at least I can count.

Where does the world get these wombles from.

His mates were out in Widewell on Saturday. Pointing their speed gun at passing motorist. What amazing lives these lucky folk must have.

Luckily mine was due at the end of January so it was "only" £600. :D
You’ll pay £630 next year though so in reality you are just a year behind.

I’ve not taxed mine yet so saving even more :P

Reason being I want to get the mot back to middle of may when it was original due and got screwed up by covid.

£630 this year but I suspect £700 next year. It’s linked to positive cost of living I think? (It was RPI linked this year)
