Rocker cover gasket

Post by Chippie » Sun Apr 03, 2022 6:42 pm

My son fitted a new rocker cover gasket for me today, he’d noticed when doing the MOT that it was just starting to leak from the rear left hand side, it’s a pretty straight forward job, (we’ll for him anyway), I’d probably struggle removing the electrical connectors. The only issue he had was needing to loosen the injector’s and the fuel rail as they were fouling the removal of the rocker cover. One bonus was when checking the injectors they were all index 12, so they must have been charged prior to my ownership which should hopefully save me the best part of £1200. They were probably changed under warranty as there’s no invoice with the paperwork I have.
