No, the guy who gave him that name said it was because his car spent so much time pointing in the wrong direction!

PointedMarlin is mine because it’s my gamertag & I’m a teacher so using my real name when I first sign up for a forum as opposed to my real name when kids can Google search me & I don’t know what my language will be like on the forum just affords me a bit of security

I invented a skateboard which could be used by deep sea divers. Turns out, there is no market for such a product.
Also, there is an extreme lack of paved surfaces on the sea floor, making it quite difficult to operate. Hydrodynamical drag is a large issue.
One day, someone will crack it and make a fortune.

Years ago when I was trying to come up with a username to a forum I was joining my kids came up with grannyknot and it stuck. They still think it's funny that I'm using it.

[NERD ALERT]
Usernames or less commonly known as Handles were originally used in the radio community as a way of identifying radio license holders for example (Lewis RingwayManchester is M3HHY) These handles where linked to your radio license so that Offcom can track who is making broadcasts and to tell anyone off who was not following the rules proper.
When the Internetz came about people needed a way of identifying people and as there used to be somewhat of a crossover between radio hams and computer engineers they decided to use the same identifying data that they use in the ham world.
Then the Movie Hackers came out in the 90s just as the internet was becoming mainstream and then was born AcidBurn and ZeroCool soon to be followed by Neo and Morpheus.
And this is how we get to ShineyUnicornSparkles99
