Big Boi Touchless Car Dryer

Post by Boyo » Wed Feb 02, 2022 3:09 pm

I have invested in one of these on the recommendation of the detailer I use for my ceramic coating and PPF. The idea being the less you physically touch the car the less likely you are to create holograms, swirls etc.
It takes longer than using drying towels, however the end result is well worth it in my opinion.

Car looks stunning. Well worth the care and effort. I have a portable dryer and also a water filter from Race Glaze which I use for the final rinse. It means I don’t really have to dry the car. The purified water drys without leaving any marks. If I am going to garage the car I blow away surplus water from round the brakes and other key spots. So nothing seizes if the car is standing for a while. Works really well. Certainly cuts down on the risk of swirls and also the effort needed.
