Like my title says, I'm sure these are worth more than gold, the world's gone mad with its prices.

So I bought a 35is with all the toys to play with.

My excess is the same, but the policy doesn't include assist.

That’s the difference!
The assist was a very important part of the package for me.

Yes. If I didn't have a joint AA membership with my wife, I'd certainly have taken the BMW Assist option with the insured warranty, which, for me, would have been better.

Out of curiosity I've just done a BMW Insured Warranty quote and without Assist and £250 excess it's coming out at £457 for the year, the Driveline cover is £333

I wonder if they have just increased their prices?
It’s been £422 for a good while now.

I got a quote back in September - comprehensive under 60,000 miles with no assist and £250 excess came to £339.00.

I think it might be a renewal-only price, so not available to new customers. I chose not to renew because I found other warranties for a lower price with £0 excess, which also had broader cover and would allow modifications.

Who did you use Tiglon in the end then ?

Mine's only 7/8 years old, so I can't comment on that.

I haven't chosen one yet, it got put on the back burner with other stuff going on, but Protect4Sure seemed the best option I could find - for a little over £300 they were even covering wear and tear items and with zero excess.

When I asked on a 11 year old , 50k miles 35is BMW quoted I think around £500. No mods allowed.

Since I knew I was on an upgrade program the warranty programs were not relevant/ applicable / possible …
