'Values have dropped hard' does make me laugh.....they are an 8 year old car that is now back at list price
Whilst I'm not denying there were some issues, the engines are nowhere near as fragile as the internet makes out. Talk to RPM Technik and they'll confirm the same thing. Out of 6300 built there are a very small number of early cars that had engine issues. I would have no hesitation in buying one of these cars.

Values, while always a factor for any purchase, aren’t the be all and end all, especially for something like this, so for me it’s if you can and want too why not go for itAngelus666 wrote: ↑Wed Nov 10, 2021 1:20 pm 'Values have dropped hard' does make me laugh.....they are an 8 year old car that is now back at list price

Do what you’ve done and buy what you can and want as I said previously, it’s stunning, the colour is excellent and enjoy every mile in it
I know I would if I was in the position to own one

I haven't really looked at values of these but were they not £100k without options when new? This seems to be the going rate for the older carsAngelus666 wrote: ↑Wed Nov 10, 2021 1:20 pm 'Values have dropped hard' does make me laugh.....they are an 8 year old car that is now back at list price

https://www.pistonheads.com/buy/listing/12531005 Hardly heavy depreciation I agree but I do think that as they approach the 10year mark the values will fall quite hard as the engine is then out of warranty. I guess we'll see fairly soon...
There's a chap on a fb track group I'm on where his '16 GT3RS engine has gone pop at 15k miles, so I don't think the early fire issues are related to these issues coming up with tracked cars. I also imagine not that many of them do get tracked that hard, hence it not being a huge problem for Porsche.
Of course it's warranted for the moment so no big deal, other than losing your car for a while.

That's an amazing offer mate and I'll definitely take you up on that offer! It's ceramic coated with an IGL coating, but it's not what I would call amazing. The lava orange isn't the deepest of colour to work with, but I'm sure you work do your magic with it!
I'll figure out a few dates that might work and book it in with you!
