Z4 Coupe 56k Miles - Fantastic condition - £13,000

So i have for sale my 57 plate Z4 Coupe that i purchased off a member here back in June. I was planning on keeping this for the long run as have been working purely remotely the past couple of years so it was more of a weekend car. I've now decided to sell this as in the last month i've started my own company and I'm now doing regular 350 mile journeys and i'm just going to pile the miles on this car if i keep it.

The car is located in Market Drayton, shropshire

This car is in absolutely fantastic condition, the previous owner has really looked after this car which you can clearly see from the look of it.

The specs are as follows:
  • Silver Grey with Black leather interior and piano black trim
  • 56,000 miles, about 2000 of which I have put on in the last month
  • Heated seats
  • Sat nav
  • Cruise control
  • Rear parking sensors
  • Factory bluetooth phone connection
  • Bluemusic bluetooth audio dongle connected to the CD changer allowing music streaming
  • Working cupholders
  • 19" CSL reps
  • Eibach lowering springs
  • Longlife stainless steel back box (have a stock one too which will come with the car)
  • Steering wheel re-trimmed by Royals just before i purchased
  • CDV Removed
  • Windows tinted
  • ZHP gear knob fitted just before i purchased
  • Water pump replaced just before i purchased
  • Brembo disks and EBC pads fitted just before i purchased
  • Full service history
  • Front tyres have plenty of tread but rears will need doing soon
  • Previous owner has had the front foglights and reflectors deleted and resprayed in the body colour and it looks really clean

Both the previous owner and myself are into detailing so this car has been treated very well. While under my ownership when not in use it has been under an outdoor cover but prior to that for the last 5 years it has been stored in a garaged and only mainly driven in the dry.

The bad points:
  • There is a scratch in the passenger side window tint
  • There is a small chip in the windscreen, this is not noticeable when driving and has been there for the last few years, still passes the MOT fine
  • there are a couple of stone chips on the front bumper
  • there is a small circular adhesive pad on the driver door which is from a phone holder that needs some effort to get off. I havent tried it yet because i havent had time and it doesnt bother me but happy to provide photos

I think that's it. I purchased this car knowing that there is no work that needs doing to the car, this would be an excellent condition car for 4 years old let alone 14 years. There is years of history on this forum from the previous owner you can have a look at (username is idej_z4), I am selling this for pretty much the same amount i paid for it back in June on the forum but if i dont get any interest ill put it on autotrader for about £14,000 ish.

The car looked in great condition when we met recently so I think the first person to view it will buy . Great shame you are having to sell but good luck with the new company . All the best

It`s still there  I decided to Sorn it and leave it with them as the more we went over the paintwork the more issues we found . They are " really " busy and I`m in no rush as i wouldn`t be using it anyway . I couldn`t believe the amount of cars they had lined up waiting to be done . They even sent the petrol tank cover to the place they use to mix the paint colour to make sure it was an exact match . Should get it back in a few weeks . If you are ever over this way drop in and have a cuppa

Well at least it sounds like they're doing a proper job on it! Yeah give me a shout when it's back and I'll have a wonder over for a look. They sound like a decent place though and that's a job you don't want to rush them with.

Looks like a fine specimen, good luck with the sale!

Do you know how the front bumper side reflectors have been filled in/covered/colour coded? Might have been previous owner but would appreciate a close up photo if you get a chance?

[ref]Joe Barzini[/ref] I know you were after a auto, but this is prob as low mileage as you will find.

This is my old motor and it has been lavished with care. I'd be surprised if anyone could find a cleaner example at 56k miles.

I had the reflectors removed, then filled with filler and then sprayed when I had the whole bumper done - don't know why they put them on in the first place, think it was a yank thing.

Here he is! Its been a fantastic car mate and to be honest im gutted to see it go but it feels a real shame if I were to put so many miles on it after you've taken such good care of it. I've noticed you've picked up a roadster since, hope its all going well!

Thanks idej_z4.... She is a beauty!

I recently bought Aero fornt bumper because I hate these reflectors so much, now knowing this is an option i may sell the Aero and do this instead as i kinda prefer the facelift fog lights. Thank you!

And there was me not putting enough miles on it...almost went the other way! Picked up a cheap roadster, just a bit of fun, planning on getting a better daily as that's what I do most of my driving in...probable something like the new i4 or the ///M version if the budget with stretch.

Worth mentioning that the piano black trim was brand new when you got it so has very little age related marks (I know these can get badly scratched and scuffed over the years).

GLWTS buddy, when I first saw it back up sale I was tempted to buy it back, but it would only sit in the garage...i love the roof down life too much!
