Booked in for an MOT today

Smooth process, no issues & didn’t feel like they were going to try anything on. Although the car had been serviced by Cheltenham BMW before I brought it I believe a few months ago so should’ve sailed through the MOT

I have used Sytner Tamworth for several years and always had good service. It's quite a nice dealership, too, if you decide to wait for your car.

This is my go to place, and I live in the north!

Best dealer service in my opinion. Have tried a few.

Hope it passos Ok. Dont tend to use dealers for MOT id nothing wants doing on car(service etc) I take it direct to the test station that my indy uses. Cheaper but can also speak to guy who actually does test, handy if any advisories.
However brake fluid due month before service so had done at a dealers. They did usual health check which gives details about state discs, tyres plus anything else visible when on ramp(exhaust , brake lines etc) so hopefully good indication if MOT likely to be passed. Dealer identified needed new discs and pads on front, indy doing that tomorrow then getting it MOT'd . First time doing this so will see how well it plays out.

Mines passed and without changing front discs and pads.
Slatestones said would be a definitely fail on front disc/pads they are an advisory on todays MOT.
Difference between an indy who knows what he's doing and customer service advisor at a main dealer. Not her fault just way dealers are set up to operate.
