Thanks for all the quick replies, I’ve decided to just bite the bullet and get new discs aswell, but I think looking at the pads I’ll be more than fine to drive the car until they arrive.
Thanks all

You could alway take a punt and photocopy/scan the invoices relating to this issue amd fire them over to the dealer further stating your unhappiness and ask for recompense. Even if they make a goodwill gesture it all helps

G29 M40i Thundernight with Ivory interior, all option packs (here for a while, hopefully )

And unfortunately it isn’t a main dealer so it boiled down to, not their problem, I should have checked before purchasing.
You still have the same rights regardless of main dealer or any other business seller. The only advantage with buying from a dealer (apart maybe for easy finance) is you have more rights for issues such as this. I would not let that one lie. As said "not fit for purpose". I would be talking to Citizen's advice.

If you are buying from Autodoc, bear in mind they ship everything from Germany and you could have to wait up to three weeks for them to arrive. Their prices are very good, though
All good things come to those who wait. I'm really impatient which explains a lot.

    F31 320i. Good car.
    E89 20i Now fully dried
Z3 'free litre'. Project and a half. Complicated!
    Mazda3 sold

I haven't yet bought anything from Autodoc, but in this post-Brexit world does anyone know if they now get stung for Import VAT, Customs Duty and Handling Fees for orders over £135 that is shipped from them? Or anyone else in the EU for that matter.

    Cheers!

You don't pay duties just VAT with Autodoc.

Put these on fron of my 35i with EBC redstuff pads all round, the difference is phenomenal and redstuff are almost dust free as partly ceramic. Done 8k on them with no noticeable disc wear.
Not the cheapest disc but you get what you pay for.....

Much better than whatever the AD put on my 35iS. The car wash lads often comment on the state of the front wheels.

(Well, I think they do, but then I don't speak Romanian.)

Just a quick question, does the car have iDrive? if so in the vehicle information part, does it say the brakes need changing and if not the mileage left before changing?
