You’re right there are not a lot of 35is cars about- I think most prolific are 2.0l cars bought by folk with their sensible heads on.

I was thinking about it but the 35iS is almost 300kg heavier than the E86 and 60kg heavier than the new Z4 coupe.... Supra

This monkey isn’t falling for it - when the time does come to sell I will advertise it on here as I’m confident I will be selling a good car and with the Bmw warranty in place and all the ticks in the service book

I would always emphatically encourage people to sell privately and walk into the dealership with cash not a car. They will always try to massively underpay. Your car (if you wanted to) would sell well and without much hassle Ron, there doesn't ever seem to be many 35iS on the market at any time

I’m not sure what is happening across the pond, but in the US virtual dealers are offering good prices based solely on a virtual appraisal and seem to be changing the market I sold my Audi TT to Carmax for almost $4000 more than I expected a dealer to offer. No haggling, they paid the Internet appraisal. My wife priced her Honda CRV with Carmax (again higher than I appraised) and walked into the BMW dealer and they met the price (there is a small tax advantage to trading instead of selling privately).

Not much discount for an almost 6 month old one with a couple of k mileage and limited option packs.

Like the 35’s there’s quite a limited supply, a few more 2nd hand ones on the market this week, and holding their money well, and only 3 new unregistered ones

There's a 19 plate Supra round the corner from me at Maserati Hamilton 600miles on the clock and just under £47k in dark grey, does look a bit of kit in the flesh... something you would look comfortable in dressed as batman!

I looked at them last weekend, funnily enough a grey one too, and I didn’t really like the look of it. In fact thinking about it now, not been enough to warrant taking any pictures of it.

Saw this right enough and was impressed with it in the flesh

Another 6 month old with 5K and a few options packs appeared today. VERY close to the price of a new one. Supply and demand I’m guessing.

9 months ago you’d have had this car circa £40k

Compared to this fully loaded, unregistered one at £52k OTR. If the AUC isn’t including RFL then the difference is even smaller
