Ended at £14750 , I did expect £15750 -£16750 but if the appetite isn't there then market forces dictate values :(
Fortunately the seller had a reserve , parting off the goodies then returning the car to market has to be the way forward for this one , hard to believe there wasn't stronger demand
Disappointing indeed, mr wilks :o

This is my cherished Z4M Roadster and I'm surprised she didn't make the reserve, set at a smidge over the mid £K teens, which I thought was a sensible and not unachievable figure in the first place, given all the extra goodies and Servicing etc, during my ownership..

Being positive: Every day, is a school day - as they say & a learning day

Removing the Aero side skirts; Remus back boxes and fitting standard items is do'able - but it'd be a shame IMHO.. As well as taking off the M3 strut brace too :?

She's available and ready to go & if anyone is seriously interested - ping me a PM? :driving:
Hi Woolybear,

Just as a reference point, I'm going to be listing my beautifully looked after 90k mile Z4MC for sale shortly and I chucked the details in WBAC and they have offered £16k for it. Not too bad IMO.

Have to say from what I’ve heard about collecting cars is that the values attained seem to be low, good for buyers not so for sellers. With this car though I wonder how many are put off by non original trimmed seats that have the wrong stitching for an ///M.
Seat Stitching is the same as mine( None M), which has the New England leather? so does this mean it's has a seat swop at some point as there's no M logo

Looks to be the case

When I first saw the stitching especially around the headrest I thought it was a retrim as ive not seen the seats trimmed like that before... seems to be factory but not Nappa.

Wow!
It looks plenty for a 13 year old car, but I suppose that's the sort of money a BMW dealer would have wanted for a 3,700 mile MC in 2009!

So what price a virtually unused one now? Although it's likely to need new fluids and probably tyres.
Coupes because stunning!

The market seems to be adjusting up for the E86, and to be fair these cars have offered tremendous bang for your motoring buck for years, especially when compared to the P product out of Stuttgart. A lot to like here, fantastic colour
black interior, low miles. Wondering if the is the Hexagon car, that went down to to the south coast?

That looks great too!

I have to confess Imola Red would be my 1st choice of colour, but I'd prefer it with Sepang leather.

Hopefully you won't be zedless for too long.

Maybe I'm a bit boring but i think the black leather goes exceedingly well with Imola Red 8)
That one is very close to prefect for my taste.

I might be back in the zed owners club very soon

Not boring at all - I found an E46 325ti Sport Compact in Imola Red a while ago and had it for over 3 years that had black leather!

When you are looking for one of less than 600 MCs that came to the UK you can't get too hung up on colour combinations anyway - at least I got one with Imola leather. :D

Looking forward to developments.

That 40k Z4MC car has had 4 owners and is missing some service history, it is also a low spec car, so I think it’s about 5k over priced. The problem with it being so low miles is that if you want to enjoy it and put a few miles on it then it’s value will fall. This car is for a collector to store away for some years to come with very very limited use in my view.
