Traffic reports turn off

Hi,I have looked through the handbook to turn off the local traffic info reports that cut in.I cannot seem to find how,other than just switching the one that comes on at that moment..I'm not that tech savvy so some simple instruction would be welcome..

Don't worry you're not the only one, I've been trying to turn that off ever since I bought my G29 almost 2 years ago, no mention in the handbook.

It’s the button just to the left of volume dial.

the iDrive also has a searchable manual inside it, you can just type "traffic" and I think it will pop up in the list of available options related to traffic stuff

I think the manual is hidden under the car status screen.(too far away from the car to check)

If you don't like the local traffic reports, have you tried driving further away?

If you don't like the local traffic reports, have you tried driving further away?

Traffic may be to bad to get there?
