Got to be worth it in the current climate, just for the Pfizer number plate.

I'm getting worried about you - you're spending too much time at a PC looking like your working without proper management supervision (or you spent all day talking when you went to work). This time last year you and I had about the same post count - I've been fixing cars; machining stuff in the workshop; decorating or gardening and you've been on here all the time

Indeed.
I am so bloody brilliant at my day job that I have two screens open and am able to fill the forum with rubbish whilst all the managers at work marvel over how good my productivity is.
More truth in that than you'd think too. I walked into a tech authoring job for a company who'd never really had one before.
They had bought new software which I taught myself to use and since then no-one but me has a clue what I do, or how I do it. Operator's Manuals and Parts Lists appear as if by magic, in many different languages and as long as they turn up on time they don't care. I suck my teeth, say 'ooh that'll take a while', dash it off in a couple of hours, then a week later tell them I've managed, against all the odds, to come up with the goods.
Then I switch screens and go back to baiting you lot!
In addition, the garden is looking good, the cars are gleaming and I'm walking miles every week.

Car comes with no service book and no records of any work!

Oh...how do you know that...?
So basically needs to be about £10k to be a good buy....

Lol for real? A third of the price off as it has no logbooks/service records?
Buy on condition, not stamps in a book.

Agreed, get it on a ramp and/or a dyno. That'll tell you a lot more about the condition of all the mechanical bits than a booklet of stamps.

Its been advertised for a while that motor. I swear I saw it advertised 6+ months ago.

I bought my Si from them a couple of years back at a very reasonable price (what I would have expected to pay private) with a warranty and full service history and they went over everything with a fine tooth comb (even replaced a cap on the number plate bolt).

The owner is a proper car enthusiast.
