Replaced the rear disks and pads with Textar, took some time as I was in no rush and it was therapeutic after a heavy period of exam study....

I was thinking about painting the callipers, but in the end I just cleaned them up with a wire brush drill attachment and coated them in Gtechniq C5.... made the metal darken a shade, but it was mainly to see if it helps prevent corrosion & brake dust build up

Cheers, if you want any links/advice etc just give us a shout. It was my 1st time so it took a while getting it on but it's a simple process getting them out ans cleaning them down etc.

It was the dark smoke 30cm X 100cm.

The company was VT Customs. Might be worth buying from them direct to save them the eBay fee's with them looking like a small UK based company. I went on their site after purchase to see if there was any more info.

Vtsupplies.co.uk

I am not affiliated with them. They were the 1st one I found on eBay that were not shipping from China.

I thought once the C5 had cured they would return to a lighter silver metal, but popped out to the garage 5 mins ago and still the same Gunmetal grey colour

Took a scenic country drive to the high country about 160kms from home with a good old pub lunch. In good company with TVR Chimaera, Ferrari 328 GTS and Jaguar E-Type V12

Picked up 2 gear box sump plugs and crush washers from a grumpy BMW Plymouth, not bad £14 all in. But to windy and rainy to work on the car.

Treated my hood with two coats of Fabacil proofer. Now sat inside my home looking at the rain beading and running off.

Put it all back together and booked it into the paint shop. Also fitted the gaptech module.
