Nowt , up scotland last week red lite came on going thro selkirk ,decided to drive on an about 3ml later on a 60 mph road it let go quite qwickly ,didnt brake just let it glide to a halt by this time it was almost on the rim .
In the pic there seems to be a 10mm hole were the failure is ,so dunno .
Lucky i carry a full size spare .
Lesson to myself if a red lite comes on pull over .

I’d check your rear springs, I’ve seen broken ones cause this damage before :?

Good point Rob, ,ive heard of that happening too.
It was actually the front tyre , hence didnt brake ,just a natural slow down,checked the spring when we (me&mrs )
Changed the wheel over.wudda been gutted as springs were changed recently.
