Hopefully the buyer will join us on here!
Was interesting to also see a well-optioned 997.1 with just under 100k on the clock go for £15k tonight. Seems like a bargain compared to the ///M, but then you wonder what an equivalent manual would have gone for.
I think the engine rebuild may have put people off going higher on that one, judging by his comments it appeared he didn't have a receipt for the work either which seemed a little strange.
Ah, didn’t spot that. Very strange - could have been a big plus point with a bit more evidence.

Engine rebuild at 80,000 miles is alarm bells.

Engine rebuild at 150,000 miles with evidence and receipts is a plus point.

I meant it could have been rebuilt to sort IMS/RMS (the bill suggests maybe even bored and lined/coated too) rather than failure due to normal wear. Shame there’s no detail - unusual for Collecting Cars as they seem to know their audience.

Either way, yeah, not TV the most desirable 911 ever!

Aeros, CF front splitter, looks like a custom-made CF rear diffuser (never seen one like it before), Strom wheels, Eventuri intake, fancy leather mats/lining (not sure how i feel about these), seems to have after-market backboxes too, as well as a few other bits.

I love it personally but £20K for a 92K mile M is way too steep in the current market, in my opinion, even with the mods.

Looks a cleanly fettled car, apart from the rear discs and driver’s seat bolster which have seen better days.

Not a fan of the cross stitched leather, nor the Strom wheels either (would prefer genuine CSLs), and the Toyo tyres (just why?!) but agreed it is strong money, could see a trade at £17,000 though.

That looks nice - wheels need either a good clean or refurbing. Agreed that it's way too much money versus recently sold stuff (that i've missed out on!).

I can't believe people spec'd alu trim when they got these originally, the carbon leather is one of the highlights of a z4m interior.

Is it my eye's or is the drivers door a different colour? Maybe just the light playing tricks with the light.

My contribution to the Market Watch:

I sold my imola red Z4M Coupe this weekend.

It went for £12k (full asking price) with 128k miles on the clock.

Bought it for £12750 with 83k on the clock, 5 years ago.

Never had the bearings done.

:driving:
