I meant it could have been rebuilt to sort IMS/RMS (the bill suggests maybe even bored and lined/coated too) rather than failure due to normal wear. Shame there’s no detail - unusual for Collecting Cars as they seem to know their audience.R60BBA wrote: Fri May 29, 2020 6:09 pmEngine rebuild at 80,000 miles is alarm bells.MrPT wrote: Thu May 28, 2020 1:47 pmAh, didn’t spot that. Either way, yeah, not TV the most desirable 911 ever!

An interesting one's popped up on AT: https://www.autotrader.co.uk/classified ... 5239506322
Aeros, CF front splitter, looks like a custom-made CF rear diffuser (never seen one like it before), Strom wheels, Eventuri intake, fancy leather mats/lining (not sure how i feel about these), seems to have after-market backboxes too, as well as a few other bits.
I love it personally but £20K for a 92K mile M is way too steep in the current market, in my opinion, even with the mods.

Looks a cleanly fettled car, apart from the rear discs and driver’s seat bolster which have seen better days.Iggy wrote: Sat May 30, 2020 1:19 pm An interesting one's popped up on AT: https://www.autotrader.co.uk/classified ... 5239506322

Not a fan of the cross stitched leather, nor the Strom wheels either (would prefer genuine CSLs), and the Toyo tyres (just why?!) but agreed it is strong money, could see a trade at £17,000 though.

That looks nice - wheels need either a good clean or refurbing. Agreed that it's way too much money versus recently sold stuff (that i've missed out on!).

I can't believe people spec'd alu trim when they got these originally, the carbon leather is one of the highlights of a z4m interior.

Some nice mods added maybe return to stock and sell at a lower price for me.

My contribution to the Market Watch:
I sold my imola red Z4M Coupe this weekend.
It went for £12k (full asking price) with 128k miles on the clock.
Bought it for £12750 with 83k on the clock, 5 years ago.
Never had the bearings done.
