Just spotted these for sale on EBay for £275 free postage. Just wondered what they normally sell for on the forum?

I might put a low offer in, considering one is damaged.

That's still £100 more than I would pay. :tumbleweed:

I had a set on a previous car and have to say that I never used them - They are the sort of thing thats nice to have.
the car was sold to a pal who lives in France now and although it's a sunny part of the world, he's not used them either. I did suggest that he sold them but he wants to keep the car complete.

So I bought a 35is with all the toys to play with.

There is a company in the US who are getting these made, I think it was $250 and a better locking mechanism.

That works out to around 200 quid then possibly end up being 20-30 for delivery once they are made.

I always thought I'd like some of these, and when a pair came up for sale on here yesterday I thought "Ah go in then, you won't lose any money on them". Was going to make an offer but, when it all felt real, I realised I would almost never use them...and on the rare occasion that I did use them, I wouldn't really appreciate them because they're out of sight and I probably leave my car unattended with the roof down for about 3 hours per year. I wouldn't dare leave it unattended with these fitted, so I guess that's the end of that!

Similar thoughts here James, I clocked the covers soon after posting and was tempted...then decided that the risk of them being swiped, the faff involved in putting them on and off just gets in the way of enjoying the car. Not going to lose money but not a 'must have' in my view. Still, in good condition and a buy for someone I am sure.

Z4paul Absolutely. To be honest, I wouldn't mind a pair for £100 as they're an interesting rarity to own, but I think there are people out there who REALLY want them, so it seems mean to deprive those people of them! I'll just buy more petrol instead :D
