when i swapped 8.5" wheels with 9.5" wheels, they were noticeably wider, even with the same offset. i definitely think its worth bolting them on as is, seeing how they look (and then taking a photo
Yes it’s lowered on Eibach Springs, the Rear wheel is 19 x 9.5 ET 50 fitted with Michelin Pilot Sport 255/30/19’s... I’ll replace with 255/35/19 or possibly 245/35/19’s which is what I think @Mr Wilks sometimes suggests, but they’ve got a good 4mm thread left so seems a shame to bin them now.brillomaster wrote: ↑Sat May 23, 2020 3:43 pm are you lowered at all? and what size tyres are on the 19" rears now? cos if they're still 255s, then arguably you'll have the same clearance in the wheel well as you did before (the rim is wider, but the tyre is not)
you might have problems if you go up to 265s or 275s, which would easily fit on a 9.5" rim. but that would be seriously overtyred for a z4.
