19’’ Manhart concave 1’s
Picked these up this morning, Manhart Concave 1 forged 19’s,
front’s are 8.5 ET 40... so should be ‘bolt on’
Rears are 9.5 ET 50... so likely to need a 10mm spacer... here’s a little mock up.
I’m hoping they look a little better proportioned once under the arches

I like the look of those. Nice to see something different. Make sure you post up pics when they’re fitted.

I’ve not been able to find a photo of an E85 with these on, so I’m hoping they’ll look good and be a bit unique.
They are disproportionately expensive new, compared to the value of a typical 14 year old Z4, but these have had a recent refurb and cropped on on Gumtree at a fraction of the new price.... if I don’t like them when on, they’ll be going on eBay when there’s another £1 deal on

you might get away without spacers on the rear, they're already gonna be half an inch further out, as well as half an inch further in. might help to keep the wheel centred in the well for maximum clearance. if you space it by 10mm then the outside edge will be 23mm further out than before, which is quite a lot really.
when i swapped 8.5" wheels with 9.5" wheels, they were noticeably wider, even with the same offset. i definitely think its worth bolting them on as is, seeing how they look (and then taking a photo )

I’m going to go and take a peek under the back of the car to try and work out if it’s worth the faff without at least having a spacerbrillomaster wrote: ↑Sat May 23, 2020 3:31 pm you might get away without spacers on the rear, they're already gonna be half an inch further out, as well as half an inch further in. might help to keep the wheel centred in the well for maximum clearance. if you space it by 10mm then the outside edge will be 23mm further out than before, which is quite a lot really.

I’m more concerned about insufficient inner clearance though.
The front’s should go straight on.

are you lowered at all? and what size tyres are on the 19" rears now? cos if they're still 255s, then arguably you'll have the same clearance in the wheel well as you did before (the rim is wider, but the tyre is not)
you might have problems if you go up to 265s or 275s, which would easily fit on a 9.5" rim. but that would be seriously overtyred for a z4.

Yes it’s lowered on Eibach Springs, the Rear wheel is 19 x 9.5 ET 50 fitted with Michelin Pilot Sport 255/30/19’s... I’ll replace with 255/35/19 or possibly 245/35/19’s which is what I think @Mr Wilks sometimes suggests, but they’ve got a good 4mm thread left so seems a shame to bin them now.brillomaster wrote: ↑Sat May 23, 2020 3:43 pm are you lowered at all? and what size tyres are on the 19" rears now? cos if they're still 255s, then arguably you'll have the same clearance in the wheel well as you did before (the rim is wider, but the tyre is not)

Successful test fit,
Not rubbing, but feel that a 5mm spacer on the back might be worthwhile?
Barely any change in ride quality from 17’s, steering more direct and car feels more planted.
