The Airfly Pro is a cool little dongle which connects into the aux socket, then via bluetooth to your phone.

Great for spotify!

The airfly has a small battery and is charged via usbC

It can also send audio to wireless headphones, but for car purposes, it works very well indeed.

Just showing what it does, can pick them up on ebay for around £30!

Happy hunting! (Usually £50)

I went for the similarly named 'Tunai Firefly', also £30.

Main difference is it also plugs into the USB so no charging/turning on and off required

Would it work if you plugged it into the glovebox USB??

I don't think that one can be used for charging, low amper

All USB connectors are mandated to supply 5v power and data in/out

The low power version is 100ma

So providing the charging circuit doesn’t ask too much it MAY be possible to plug it into the glove box USB port...you could just try it..

But... you need to plug it into the 3.5mm audio jack in the armrest to get the sound.

You can keep the airfly plugged into the usb if you want.
Battery is good for a weekend though.

The USB port switches off a couple of minutes after locking the car, so no battery drain concerns - makes that a good option

Ive got this fitted in my Toyota for the last 4 years, allows you to skip tracks and answer phone calls. Sound quality is very good for £15! https://www.amazon.co.uk/TECEVO-Bluetoo ... 43&sr=8-61

I have something similar with no issues since ownership of the vehicle. No dedicated usb specced out in mines unfortunately so had to result in this. USB end powered via cigarette lighter port and the other in aux.

Does the cigarette lighter socket also switch off a few mins after locking the car, out of interest?

I am probably asking a bit much here, but I am guessing you have no control over your phone from the head unit / steering wheel controls with these devises?

All track skips etc would need to be done via the phone?
