Despite passing its MOT last week, I'm tempted to connect it up to the CTEK and SORN it again from the 1st of April. :(
It has got a full tank of Momentum too.

None sadly, other than maybe some more thorough cleaning than usual.

I'm just glad I took it for a drive late Sunday afternoon!

Looks like Ross won't be doing my Inspection 2 for a while either. :(

Managed a good run out Sunday and a little run out Monday.
Not much chance of a run out now, although I have a 50 mile round trip to do shortly to fetch shopping for my elderly parents, so at least the car gets a run out.

I’m hoping to treat the roof, clay, polish and wax ready to put the cover on for a while. I’ve got some trim I’ve been meaning to alcantara too. It’s a welcome break to be honest being between jobs and we’ve just had to put our wedding on hold  strange times

Stay well everyone :)

It's a DA so very little will go wrong.

Start of slowly on the boot lid and take your time.

As I had already detailed the Zed and done all my little fixes in preparation for this years driving just before isolation kicked in :headbang: I'm looking to find other jobs I can do.

One of my headlights has a rather large scratch on it and thinking about having a go at sanding it out. Has anyone attempted this previously and do you have any tips for a total novice?

Thank you for the advice. I will be very careful. The polisher plus kit arrived this afternoon with DPD as promised. I am going to watch the videos and am going to see if I can get a BMW panel delivered from a breaker at a reasonable price. How much does it cost for a decent respray?

Unless you're a total klutz and hold a DA in one spot with heavy pressure for minutes, you wont do any damage to BMW paint with it. They're honestly very user friendly, just start with a large flat panel like the boot lid and you'll soon see how much time and pressure works.

It's the different potions for scratch removal, polishing and sealing and the different pads required for the different jobs.

Be prepared to spend some cash!
