Yup, tax check on DVLA website shows it registered March 2007.
Which triggered a thought.............if your car is stolen, then you should immediately cancel the tax/put it on SORN. That way it will possibly trigger more ANPR cameras in police cars.
Although i'd assume that ANPR would flag it as stolen too? Can't help to be a bit 'belt and braces' though?

Its a good thought but from my recent experience, Admiral say that if the car isn't "Road Legal" (and that includes Tax) then the insurance is invalid. (madness I know) If you SORN it after its stolen you'd have another battle on your hands convincing them that it was taxed at the time it was taken
(Ive had to get written confirmation from Admiral that they will agree to continue the insurance on my Zeds whilst SORN'd & in storage)

Fair point. Have to rely on the coppers being quick with their ANPR updates then I guess.Number5 wrote: ↑Tue Dec 03, 2019 1:15 pmIts a good thought but from my recent experience, Admiral say that if the car isn't "Road Legal" (and that includes Tax) then the insurance is invalid. Once a car is reported stolen the Reg' number will trigger ANPR anyway.enuff_zed wrote: ↑Tue Dec 03, 2019 1:03 pmYup, tax check on DVLA website shows it registered March 2007.
