A while back i read someone post a guide to fixing the z4 tramlining issue by making some adjustment to the steering wheel column (i think), i cant find the thread, does anyone know where it went?

The single biggest issue with tramlining is run flats! Just got rid of mine and it's stopped instantly, this is after a complete wishbone, shocks, drop links change!

I dont have run flats and have had several improvements like new tyres, bushes, wheel alignments etc

Is that tramlining though? It seems to be describing play in the steering above a certain speed. I always took tramlining to mean the car steering itself down changes in the road surface?

Yes, as others have already pointed out tramlining is usually down to tyre, suspension or alignment issues. The OP asked for info about adjusting the steering column so I've linked the best thread. Thsnks for the link couldnt find it anywhere and remember people had good experiences! Yes its steering play, i have had few garages check tyres and all that and say they cant find anything wrong
Now to find someone who can do this adjustment tor me!
