He said 2 inch as that ‘Slides’ in just perfect for the weld.

He said you could go 2 and a 1/4 but would have to drop the exhaust for the welding.

Hope that helps?
Perfect, really appreciate that. I'll take a look online, probably need 50cm i'm guessing...
I hope you mean 50 mm?
Unless you're jacking the car up a bit :)

OK, so re-read it, and maybe you mean 50cm length? In which case I'll bog off :)

Always happy to help if I can.

If the forum helped you, why not help the forum back. Thats the Z4 way!

I had a little alteration to my 23i too, had the dual pipes diverted from twin on L/H side to a single each side then had double mufflers fitted.

Won't that look a bit odd in winter when you've only got smoke coming out one side?

Looks nice, did you just cut the rear bumper to fit and did you do anything extra with the cut ends or did you buy a diffuser or similar?

I'll panic if smoke comes out.

Does anyone care.

Just cut the bumper to match, made a bracket that bolts onto existing bumper mount. Welded two lengths of exhaust tube to bracket.
At least it now looks balanced.

Agree that's why I like the look, Its Balanced the rear end. That way would have saved me £600.

This sounds like a good starting point. Has anyone posted before and after sound video of this mod?
