Hi All,

It is with great regret that I am selling my E86 3.0Si Coupe in Montego Blue with Oregon beige interior.

The previous owner was a forum member and the car was bought from here. He owned the car from 2013 to 2018.

The spec of the car is the following:

  • Full electric memory Msport seats
    Bluetooth
    Piano black dash
    M sport suspension (Eibach Springs)
    Auto Xenon headlights
    Sports mode
    Sun protection Glazing
    Velour Floor mats
    Electrically folding heated wing mirrors
    Auto-dip rear view mirror
    Storage Compartment Package (Comfort Pack)
    Anthracite headlining
    Headlamp cleaning system
    Park distance control (PDC)
    Rain sensor auto wipers
    AUX Port
    Automatic air conditioning
    Tyre pressure monitoring system
    Hill Start Assist
    Sports multifunctional steering wheel
    Isofix System
2 Keys with full documentation wallet &

The car is close to standard with only a few complimentary modifications:

  • 19" CSL style wheels that were refurbed less than 3 years ago and could do with refurbishment. The fronts have Continental CS6 tyres and the rears were recently replaced with PS4’s
Eibach springs and the CSL wheels provide the perfect stance for the car while not being too rigid.
Finally, the car has what I believe to be a BMW motorsport strut brace.

The coupe has FULL BMW service history:

  • Ocean Falmouth 12-03-09 7,545 miles
    Sytner Cardiff 12-02-10 12,400 miles
    Sytner Cardiff 04-01-11 17,031 miles
    Sytner Cardiff 17-02-12 26,215 miles
    Sytner Cardiff 19-4-13 36,145 miles
    Sandall Wakefield 24-04-15 43,714 miles
    Stratstone Hull 06-05-17 45,944 miles
    Sytner Coventry – 03-10-18 56337 miles

Recent work done:

  • DSC pump was also refurbed approximately 3 years ago so should be all set for years to come
Brembo discs and pads all around
    Front lower arm bushes
    Front lower arm
    Alignment
    Spark plug change

The car has been used as my daily driver and the current mileage is 68,000 miles which will rise daily.

The MOT is valid until 19/07/2020. Two advisories only which have both been addressed. There was the slightest of play in the wishbone ball joint which has been replaced with a Mayle HD item. The other advisory was slight inside edge wear which has been addressed with assignment. The wear was minimal and did not require a change of tyre.

There is a minor parking ding in the drivers door, some wear to the drivers bolster and the usual road rash on the front, but otherwise in very good condition for what is almost an 12 year old car.

SOLD! One day I will be back in a Coupe - Loved this car!

Thanks

Krish

Looks a beaut. GLWTS

Thanks mate. Will be sad to see the Coupe go but new job and getting married at the end of the year means Gonzo needs a new owner.

Also HPI clear, no finance, etc

Hi,

Does it have heated seats?

BW

As there are no buttons, I would assume not heated

You have better eyesight than me!

Monaco84 is right, no heated seats!

But with such a small cabin, I've never needed it. My previous Beemers all had heated seats and its a feature I thought I would miss but not the case with the Z4.

Evening all. Update on Gonza.

Just had my first mechanical issue. I guess Gonza is not happy he's for sale!

Waterpump failure!!!!!

Who would have thought. Just hit 70k and the pump fails.

As always, only the best will do so a brand new Pierburg pump, thermostat and aluminium bolts with a full coolant flush.

Purring like a dream again.

So for those interested, the abs pump has been done and waterpump now replaced.

I'm not aware of any other common issues with the N52 so trouble free driving to follow for any potential new owner

Car is now parked up in a secure lockup in Milton Keynes.

I will not be driving the car much now as I have bought my new car.

So potential viewing will need to be in Milton Keynes area from now on.

Thanks

Krish

That's poor timing - yours is the 2nd E86 water pump to die once the car went up for sale. I wonder if they don't like being sold.

Great looking car though - GLWTS.

Agree'd, Gonzo clearly wants to stay with me! Sadly, the time has come to let him go

Had a viewing recently. He thinks its priced a little too high but after a quick check on pistonheads, the price seems bang on the market value.

Autotrader has a few cheaper ones and a few on the forum are a bit cheaper.

Just have to wait and see how things pan out.

Clearly a 2007 BMW for close to 10k is asking a lot but then how many coupes on the road in good condition.

You can get a much newer 3 series for sure but then your one of a million on the road.
