I can't believe this is still for sale, I might have missed the comments but did anyone go to see it?

Feels well priced, the market really is down on these since I bought my MR.

Didn't the supercharged MR start at 21/ 22k? Goes to show how standard ish one's tend to command the best returns.mark seeker wrote: ↑Sun Jul 21, 2019 5:44 am I can't believe this is still for sale, I might have missed the comments but did anyone go to see it?

Hi
New to the forum and in the market for a z4mr
I saw a nice one being sold by Ashgood (porsche specialist) - high price but looks well looked after
Any one know this car or appreciate any thoughts from others who know the market better?
Thanks

Looks lovely and I think given the miles the price is spot on.
2 owners carbon dash
I would ask if it's has a running in service as he hasn't listed it.
And if all the other services are inspection 1 or if any are inspection 2

Thanks @James28
The running in service done at 1100 miles I believe. With full Bmwsh. There’s an Inspection 2 in the service book, I need to check when the next ones due given the low miles.
Realise titanium not everyone’s cup of tea but I prefer it
It’s local to me will pop down and check it out

For a 25k minter, dealer prepped & warranted starting at £19950 doesn't seem ott to meR60BBA wrote: ↑Mon Jul 22, 2019 1:19 pmIt’s a nice car but some strong money being asked there...Rmch18 wrote: ↑Mon Jul 22, 2019 9:02 am Hi

I agree it’s not OTT, but it’s still strong money.
Personally I would rather buy a well sourced 40-50k miler for £13-15k and then dump the remaining funds on Euro road trips.
If I had that minter I would be scared to put miles on it

Agreed. I've frowned at the price some are asking for their ///M's in recent months, but I actually think this is good value. If the service record and the condition is excellent, then I'd go as far as saying it's great value.
Certainly, I think as a long term investment you struggle to beat it. Perhaps the only thing is the colour, but silver brings out the best in the lines in my opinion, and I wouldn't be surprised if it had a renaissance at some point.

Thanks all, much appreciated. I’ve had the low miles investment / enjoying the car dilemma in past so know the internal conflicts. Sold a porsche Spyder last year which went up about 8k during my ownership, towards the end You start being too precious. Learned the lesson. Definitely looking to enjoy, given the age of z4m in biasing towards low mileage / well looked after so I can have some (hopefully) stress free enjoying... not too fussed at this stage on investment. Having said that ask me again if prices start accelerating up and I may have changed my mind!

If you have the £20k then go for it...worst case scenario is that you put 20k miles on it and it’ll still be worth £16k in 3 years time. Bit of a no brainer imo...

Looks a good car to me, personally I like the silver too. I think for the coin it is about right, assuming the warranty is worth having I don't see a better priced MR around (with the mileage), I've only ever heard good things from Ashgood.Rmch18 wrote: ↑Mon Jul 22, 2019 9:02 am Hi
