Hi all,
Quick question - I'm currently having my alloys refurbished, and the centre caps need replacing.
Anyone confirm the correct size, 68mm?

I'd recommend genuine ones over those. The fake ones don't last.skelters wrote: ↑Thu Jun 13, 2019 11:32 am No idea but at this price who cares.....

A pal of mine bought cheapo ones at the same time as me. His look pretty bad now, and mine look brand new

If you were just going to bin the old ones you wouldn't even need to take the wheels off.
Just put a screw in the centre of the old cap and pull them off with pliers.

Yes definitely. I've recently bought fleabay ones for my MV3's. Bought a spare set too for when they start to look a bit tatty. BMW oem ones are just silly money imho.

They were £34 for 4 oem centre caps when I last purchased them. £8.50 per badge, hardly extortionate.oldgitdave wrote: ↑Thu Jun 13, 2019 3:05 pmYes definitely. My wife's A class centre caps cost over £60 for the 4.

Tap up the ebay ones, had a set for 2 years and they are still looking fine.

Yeah genuine ones are around £40 and probs do last longer, my fake £4 quid ones last about 3 years then look a bit worse for wear.

There are some things I’d always just shell out for genuine parts, wheel caps are one of those things. I hate the disappointment of buying cheap and they don’t fit quite right, or there’s a little flaw that only you can see, but you see it every time. The last set of genuine ones I bought lasted over 5 years, and to be honest I could have re-used 2 of them. You spend £3-400 refreshing your wheels, they deserve better than £4 wheel caps

I bought some cheap caps of eBay for my E89. They were crap and didn’t fit correctly so I binned them. My OEM caps cost me £39 and were worth every penny. You get what you pay for.
