Hey folks,

After a falling out with BMW and my void wheel warranty (viewtopic.php?p=1650558#p1650558) I'm looking into buying some new wheels for my E89 Deep Sea Blue 35i. Car is currently on these:

Genuine BMW Style 313M (cracked rears)
Current Front: Bridgestone Potenza RE050A RFT 225/35 R19 88Y on Style 313 8Jx19 ET29.
Current Rear: Bridgestone Potenza RE050A RFT 255/30 R19 91Y on Style 313 9Jx19 ET40.
Image

New tyres going on will be:
New Front: Vredestein Ultrac Vorti 235/35 R19 96Y
New Rear: Vredestein Ultrac Vorti 255/35 R19 96Y

Optimum setup:
Front: 8.5Jx19 ET35 235/35 Non-runflat
Rear: 9.5Jx19 ET35 255/35 Non-runflat

So which do you think looks best out of the following:

Style 313M (same as current but replicas. When the machined face lacquer goes I'll get them two tone painted with hyper silver front and ferric gray inner):
8Jx19 ET40 Front (10mm spacer required)
9Jx19 ET40 Rear

Style 789M (Following the Mr. Wilks look as they're rather lovely):
8.5Jx19 ET35 Front
9.5Jx19 ET40 Rear (5mm spacer required)
https://cmwheels.com/product/19%E2%80%B ... ned-5x120/
Image

Style 763M (Very similar to my winter wheels, but fully painted means no diamond cut issues):
8.5Jx19 ET40 Front (5mm spacer required)
9.5Jx19 ET45 Rear (10mm spacer required)
https://cmwheels.com/product/19-763m-m4 ... er-silver/
Image

Current Winter Wheels (No rub experienced with M Adaptive Suspension):
Front: Michelin Pilot Alpin 4 225/40 R18 92V on Bola B25 Gloss Gunmetal 8.5J ET30.
Rear: Michelin Pilot Alpin 4 225/40 R18 92V on Bola B25 Gloss Gunmetal 8.5J ET30.

Obviously the new offsets may require me to get some spacers so I wonder what is the perfect 'stance' for the wheels. If you have any other good looking options for the car then shout up below!

Wheel spacers (if required) to be as follows:
5x120 H&R Black Spacers (probably 10mm for fronts), 72.6mm bore, bolt length: 35mm?

Website used for checking spacer requirements: www.willtheyfit.com

I was also looking at those Style 763M from CM Wheels ( as I wanted some painted rather than diamond cut wheels ) and wondered how you worked out the spacers required ?

I added BMW roundels and those blue rings. Can't figure out how to post photos, hang on.

Obelix,

The way I worked them out was completely incorrect (I've changed the post to be correct now). The website I used to check was www.willtheyfit.com which gives a handy little profile image too.

I loved the look of them but after some photoshop I'm not entirely sure they work:

I think I'm probably going to end up with 313Ms but with black inner barrel rather than ferric gray (as I can't get the correct offsets/rim widths in ferric gray). The only thing stopping me deciding is that I don't know whether 8J front / 9J rear is better/worse than 8.5J/9.5J.

Don't think your Photoshop ping is doing them justice. Need to bring out the bling a little more. 8)

Don’t know what you’re on about! My photoshopping skills are second to none!

And yeah they need a different angle to be honest, I’ll take one of my car matching that one series and get my fiancée to do a much better photoshop job than my dirty copy and paste :P

Paint quality is just fine, these wheels have been on my car for 3 years and look great.

So I handed the photoshop over to my fiancee and she did a much better job of it... not perfect but good enough to get an idea of what they would look like.

...But I've still gone with the 313Ms :P

Spec below:
Front: Replica Style 313M 19" 8J ET40 with 10mm H&R spacers (5x120 bolt pattern 72.6mm bore) on Vredestein Ultrac Vorti 235/35 R19 96Y
Rear: Replica Style 313M 19" 9J ET40 on Vredestein Ultrac Vorti 255/35 R19 96Y
