All was forgiven when the Marshal at the entrance greeted me as Marlon - said he recognised my Zed :)

Exiting :D :driving:
That was no Marshal, that was me ! I got so fed up with BMW Car Club members phoning me about the delays that I came over to the entrance to see what was up. To be fair to the organiser the entrance gate is done by Newby Hall and he had got them to double the capacity. I then also persuaded them to let us open the route over the grass to speed things up for BMWs once in the grounds.

It was good to see so many Zeds today. Early on it looked like this, I thought no-one was coming ! Then everyone started arriving and we managed to get a lot of you parked up together before running out of space. Lessons learnt and all that.

Did anyone else see the M3 lose it at the side of the tree and end up bouncing down the grass like a bucking bronco heading for some sheep ?? I bet a bit of poo shot out of his bottom
Yep I saw that and thought what a pri*k! By all means have a quick car but it helps if you know how to drive it

Still got them John - thinking of going graphite with them over the winter. So where were you parked and which Zed did you bring?

Bit of a last minute thing Colin so just bought tickets on the gate and parked with the minions.

Once we got in, it wasn't too bad a day.

Joined the queue to get in at about 9.45 and got parked around 11.30 although there was no room on the stand with the rest of the Z's.

Something will need doing about the entry if we are to repeat for next spring.

Sorry. We were trying to keep the Zeds together, but once the queues started clearing cars were arriving faster than we could marshal the stand. I'm just glad we managed to get 100ish BMWs sort of organised !
