Grabbed the opportunity for a top-down drive in the sunshine this afternoon, to blow the cobwebs away. The car has not moved in a good few weeks, so it felt good to get it out of the garage and go for a blast.

I was definitely taking my chances with the weather though, as there were some very sharp showers around. Somehow though I managed to avoid them all and on realively dry roads.

A slightly dirtier Zed now tucked back up in the garage with the solar Optimate attached, until the next opportunity.

New thermostat and water pump fitted. Just need to fill and bleed the coolant. Oil change whilst it’s up in the air I think. What are people song these days for oil? /30 or 5/40? I have a slight lifter tick so might go 5/40 see f that helps.

After voting for standard grilles in the recent poll, I went and fitted black grilles to match my blacked-out side reflectors.
