For me it would be another vote for the F type,a v6s in budget (albeit rwd,as opposed to the AWD I would really want).
Also the GT-R is full of electrics,as well know, but it is brutal in its power delivery, and fairly easily tuneable.
3rd choice for me would be A nice GT3 RS,if you could get one in budget??

A gt3rs.... For 35k!!?!?! 996 gt3s start at 60k, 996 gt3rs' are trading for three times that! 997 gt3s are 80k+, and gt3rs are around 160k+...!!! I'd love a 996 gt3 but that's still too much money for me to tie up in an car at the moment doesn't stop the want - especially after being tossed the keys to a 997 4.0rs at a Goodwood Trackday... That engine.... That noise... Honestly driving perfection
Also I think I must be the only person on the planet who thinks the f-type is nothing more than a shallow marketing exercise - a misty-eyed gallop through jaguar's former glory days, but with a whiff of comfy suspension, automatic gearboxes, incontinence pads and golf clubs.... It does absolutely nothing for me at all! And I'm sorry but that programmed exhaust flatulence is just way too much!

As a daily Yes. But as a weekend toy. Apart from the glorious noise from the engine, it's just another taxi.

Good to see a varying range of vehicles you would all like to own .
Aston Martins just not me , no matter which model i see little allure in them & I can't get over seeing a Chrysler crossfire when i see the rear of those F types so no appeal there & anything with 4 doors doesn't strike me as a car to enjoy early morning blatts over the Lancashire moors & fells
Im going to watch the market closely whilst riding out the Brexit wave into April / May & see how things are , in the meantime the 265bhp Si coupe will see me right

Mazda rx8 rotary oddball for a unique drive (get one that’s had an engine rebuild though) Suicide rear doors also set it apart from others and the handling is very good indeed, turbine engine note makes it feel special as well
Robe89 Sdrive 20i, plenty of mumbo & good economy-the thinking bears z4
e89 Sdrive 30i, this ones busted, pass me another...

How about an Alfa Romeo 4c Andy. Although think they are quite wide too. Seen a few around top end of your budget

Getting nowhere fast The ZMR went 2 weeks ago but right now i'm wondering whether to just keep the current Si 86 i was £200 away from securing a 2012 4 pot Msport E89 on Friday but in the end i just didn't want the car bad enough to fudge the numbers
Right now my "shortlist" isn't as short as id like in order of likely spend though that doesn't mean the most expensive is the one most desired
Links to show whats out there for what ££
£9k/£11k 2012 /2013 2.0 Msport E89 https://shop.carstore.com/search/bmw/z4 ... er-SL62RDY
£13k/£17k 35i 35is E89 Msport https://www.mosshall.co.uk/used-cars/bm ... 8169562036
05/06 Carrera2 997 (3.6 ideally not 3.8 unless a clear borescope report ) http://911uk.com/ads_item.php?id=8846
Cayman 981 https://www.autotrader.co.uk/classified ... red&page=1
M2 https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/2016-BMW-M2- ... Sw8tZceXWv
ruled out are the M3 or M4 , just too big for my needs as a weekend car which is a shame as the M4 really does offer massive value right now https://www.stratstone.com/search/Vehic ... e-YG16HRR/
the F types mentioned by a good few in this thread are dropping like a stone , great for buyers but eventually id be a seller & where they will settle i have no idea originally £60kish ? now £30k https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/2015-JAGUAR- ... SwMflcQOu3
