Lots of snow about this weekend. So after a weekend out walking in it, I just needed an excuse to share some of my favourite pics.
Not quite New Zealand, but I enjoyed Wales and Dartmoor. Where did you get to?

My good ladyfriend Laura and I decided some culture intake would be the order for the weekend. So we hopped in the zed and sauntered over to the Kuppersmuhle Museum in the lovely German hamlet of Duisburg where they were having an exposition of Eric Shumacher and other post-war german artists including 2 heroes of mine; Anselm Kiefer and Joseph Beuys.
The sheer scale of Kiefer's works are something to behold. Theyre frikkin massive!
Having only ever seen his 'Gulden Bulle' in books, it was a revelation to see it up close and personal
I asked that lady in the first pic if I could include her in the photo...for scale. 'Ja ja, gein problem!' Fiwfy zed from those fiwfy german autobahns

Well Frederico, Lau is actually shorter than that little German lady in the photo!
We often get mistaken for father and daughter even tho she's only 2 years younger than me!

I've not been able to enjoy any of the UK snow this year, as I fell down this a couple of weeks ago and fractured the top of my leg...

About 6 weeks in total - got another 3 to go before my next review.
Luckily I'm in a job where I can work from home, so I'm saving a fortune in travel/hotel expenses
Although having an accident in the US/Canada, does make you acutely aware how much 'medical care tourism' must cost the NHS, as my relatively minor accident totals less than £5k (emergency admittance fees, ambulances, bed usage, physician charges, radiology fees. flight upgrade). If I'd have needed surgery and any overnight stays then you could add another £15k to that.
I've just got to wait for mine to be reimbursed by the travel insurance (who have been great so far).
