Gooooooood choice.

Eighteen months I'm still enjoying mine, and I've usually got the itch by now...

To coupe or not to coupe!

My old coupe was a silvertop Jon, did 50k in mine (from 50 to 100k) and needed nothing more than normal maintenance (oil plugs etc), and an outer disa flap at 90k.

Top choice - hope you have a blast in it 8)

My Coupe is also a silver-top and is still performing fine at 88K.

I know there are internal differences, but I've not heard of any particular issues with the early ones. My E91 325i has the 2.5 litre N52 and was built in August 2005, so must also be the early spec. but it's made it to 137K!
Coupes because stunning!

And so she is mine! Original wheels, in perfect condition as well, thrown in. Just enjoying driving home.

Great news.

I hope you drove home the long way!

Just curious, but are you thinking of refitting the original wheels?

I did indeed drive the longer way home, and included a few roads I know from the roadster!

It felt much more planted and better to drive, you could really tell that my roadster needs new RTAB and front ball joints! :driving: :driving:

I was thinking that I'd get the winter tyres swapped from my current (badly in need of refurb) 108's onto these 32's(?). Why were you thinking of making me an offer for them?

Not all of them in the Coupe. Some went in my friends car, she drove me there to collect.

No, I've already got more than enough wheels thanks!

I've just got a bit of a thing about black wheels - to me it's hard to make out what style they are!

But your OEM wheels aren't 32s, they're MV2s (aka 135Ms).

The black wheels are BBS CH-R. I'm not 100% sold on them but they do look quite good. I'll get a better feel for the look when I get the MV2's shod and on in time for the winter weather we keep getting promised!

I might just have been purswaded to buy my first thing for the Coupe. MY56 ZED may, or may not, be gong on soon!  :poke: :poke:

My first ever personalised plate, but it is one that clearly is associated with the car and easily understandable.
